2009 Alumni Reunion/Tailgate

Our alumni are invited to enjoy a day back on campus to meet our current faculty, students, and staff, and enjoy the opportunity to see alumni, friends, and former students while catching up on all the happenings in our extended family.

The activities on September 12 will start with some Meet-and-Greet time and a brief program including an update of activities by Stephen Smith, Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology Department Head, and from our Alumni Group. Then it’s time to socialize and enjoy the food before heading off to Beaver Stadium. We have a special block of football tickets reserved for those who wish to attend the game.

The registration and buffet will start at 9:00 a.m. and continue until 11:00 a.m. The game starts at noon. You can count on fun and friendship with time to reminisce and look to the future. The buffet will include a build your own breakfast sandwich (eggs, cheese, bacon, sausage served on a croissant), fresh fruit wedges, muffins/bagels/donuts, potato casserole, orange juice and coffee. Tickets are available to our group at $55 per ticket. If you wish to take advantage of this offer and order tickets in our reserved block, please limit your ticket request to six and return your order for tickets by August 21, 2009. Tickets are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. If you already have game tickets, we hope you will join us for the reunion and tailgate. FOOTBALL TICKETS WILL BE HANDED OUT AT THE TAILGATE UNTIL 11:00 AM. Then it’s time to socialize and enjoy the food before heading off to Beaver Stadium. The Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology Alumni and Friends reunion tent will be located on the lawn of the Ag Arena, at the intersection of Park Avenue and Fox Hollow Road (the North end of Beaver Stadium).
