Steps for Applying for Admission 

1.  Complete the official Graduate School Application:

  • Two official transcripts from each college or university attended.
  • Official report of GRE general test scores (verbal, quantitative, analytical). 
  • Three letters of reference from persons familiar with your academic abilities and potential.
  • A 1-2 page statement indicating areas of interest and reasons for desiring to pursue a graduate degree in rural sociology.
  • Application for Visa Document (International Students Only) 
  • An official report of  results of  the Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) if English is not your native language. 
    • A minimum score of 550 on the paper test or 213 on the computer-based test is required. 
    • Applicants who have received a degree from a U.S. university or a university in another English-speaking country are exempt from this requirement.
